Walk-to-earn app, Latin America

Pasito is the first walk-to-earn for Latin America and the thesis is: you walk, your steps convert into points and you exchange points for free stuff in local shops. By the time we started the redesign, the app was on its way to pass 500,000 users in under a month and was growing by 10,000 a day. The starting point was a vibe-coded UI made by the founder. Not great, but you can’t criticize something that got half a million users in its first month. Our job was to give that momentum a product that deserved it.

Order before ambition

There were plenty of threads to pull: wellness, social, gaming. Before choosing any of them, we started with information architecture. Information was all over the place and repeated in every instance of the product. So first, we untangled. You can’t shape a product’s direction while its structure is fighting you.

Three worlds, one app

With the structure clean, the strategic decision surfaced: Pasito wasn’t in one category, it was combining three. Wellness, gaming and social. Instead of forcing a single lane, we took the best patterns from each world and mixed them into one experience. The result is a tidy app with a very fresh feel. It plays like a game, fits naturally into wellness and lets you share and compete with friends. Same thesis as day one, finally expressed as one great product.
